Jiang Qiao Domestic Waste Incineration Plant is situated in Bao Shan District with an occupation of 13.6 hectares, which will dispose of all the domestic wastes in Huang Pu and Jing An districts and part of the domestic wastes from Zha Bei, Pu Tuo, Chang Ning and Jia Ding districts. The designed wastes disposal capacity of this plant is 1500t/d and it will be accomplished in two phases. The first phase of the project is planned to reach the wastes disposal capacity of 1000t/d, establish two processing lines of wastes incineration with disposal capacity of 500 t/d and set up two turbine generators with rated power of 12MW (15MW maximum). And the second phase will set up a second wastes incineration line of 500 t/d disposal capacity. Till then, the total electricity generating capacity is expected to be 25MW. The emission standard accords with 1992 emission standard of incineration plant prescribed by the European Union.

Flow of work
The whole incineration system consists of many sub-systems, and their correlation and functions are listed below:
(1) Incineration system
Incineration hearth uses ˇ°tilt, reciprocating mechanical hearthˇ± driven by hydraulic pressure. Through incineration system, the slag is stored in storage tank and then sent to Laogang Landfill Site for disposal. Emissions with high temperature have heat transfer with water/vapor inside the hearth. As a result, steam gas is generated and processed into turbine generator system for electricity generation. Emissions coming out of the hearth process into emission purifying system.
(2) Emission purifying system
The purifying system employs ˇ°spray reaction purifying + bag-like cleaning + activated carbon sprayˇ± process. After treated by the emission purifying system, the emissions discharge into the air through wind-inducted machine and chimney. The remaining residues are sent to hazardous waste landfill site for disposal.

The seeping water in the wastes storage tank uses ˇ°respraying incinerationˇ± processing technique. Waste water generated by other production process is discharged after being treated by waste water treatment system leachate
